About Me.

Jack Myers

I’m a U.S.-based UX designer with a Bachelor of Science in UX Design from Purdue University, one of the top-ranked UX/UI/HCI programs in the country.

While at Purdue, I interned with Lockheed Martin as a UX data designer, where I explored the intersection of data visualization and user-centered design for internal tools.

I’m especially interested in UX strategy, optimizing user workflows, and designing systems that bring real, measurable value to people. I enjoy working iteratively: balancing user needs with business goals, and digging into complex problems.

Since graduating, I’ve been exploring the evolving relationship between UX and AI, particularly how users interact with agentic systems and how trust is built in autonomous experiences. I believe UX is more critical than ever in shaping how we interact with these emerging technologies.

I'm currently looking for opportunities to grow as a designer and contribute to impactful, human-centered experiences—digital and beyond.

Since Graduation.

After graduating from college, I took a step back from UX to reflect on everything I had learned and where I wanted to go next. I spent time with family and friends and began working part-time as a sales representative at Menards—something I’ve enjoyed more than I expected. I’m currently based in St. John, Indiana.

My Internship Retrospective.

During my internship at Lockheed Martin I taught myself an important lesson. I was tasked with redesigning our intranet site to bring internal clients to our team.

Instead of a full redesign, I learned that it would have been more effective focusing on one user journey: getting clients into contact with our team.
