After completing the demo, I noticed the solo developer was looking to improve his "UI & UX."

Gokhan has done a very good job acknowledging the feedback he has been getting from his users. I wanted to learn more about how the onboarding experience side for the players, something the existing research was missing.

I wanted to gauge how users were first interacting with this game in a live setting. To achieve this I found four participants who had no prior knowledge of the game with varying past gaming experiences.
I then watched them play the game for the first time. Telling them to "think out loud" and almost act as if they were live streaming a video game. Two of these sessions were done in-person, while the other two were done remotely.

Conclusion.
After conducting this research I sent the results to Gokhan. He was pleased with these new insights and he began designing on his end immediately. He has then since shipped an update to the game applying my research insights.
